Rampage 18u Gold fell to Team Xtreme 5-4 on Sunday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at four with Team Xtreme batting in the bottom of the seventh when there was an error, scoring one run.

Rampage 18u Gold lost despite out-hitting Team Xtreme 14 to ten.

Rampage 18u Gold captured the lead in the first inning. With two outs in the first inning Maddy Bedrock drove in one run when she singled.

Team Xtreme knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the sixth inning. Victoria Overbeck‘s sac fly scored one run for Team Xtreme.

Rampage 18u Gold scored three runs in the third inning. Rampage 18u Gold scored on a stolen base and a error.

Team Xtreme scored three runs in the second inning. The big inning for Team Xtreme came thanks to a double by Overbeck, a single by Kayla Fitzpatrick, and a fielder’s choice by Hannah Arkin.

Overbeck earned the win for Team Xtreme. She pitched seven innings, giving up four runs, 14 hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Bedrock took the loss for Rampage 18u Gold. She went six and two-thirds innings, giving up five runs, ten hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Rampage 18u Gold collected 14 hits. Bedrock, Morgan ONeill, Melissa Ackerman, Cheyenne Scudder, Jamie Hebert, and Caitlyn Massaro each collected multiple hits for Rampage 18u Gold. Massaro and Bedrock each drove in one run to lead Rampage 18u Gold.

Team Xtreme had ten hits in the game. Megan Harvey, Fitzpatrick, and Samantha Mendelsohn each collected multiple hits for Team Xtreme.
